Before you meet our rescues, enjoy this story about how Dr. Dreewes made it all happen!

Back in January 2026, Dr. Dreewes and her sister were in Mississippi on vacation when they came across Dory. She was neglected, abused, and abandoned. Bred multiple times, had ear mites with horrible infections, and lived off of trash on the highway. They took her to a local shelter in MS to receive the care she desperately needed.

Dory was the pup who made this whole rescue mission possible! Dr. Dreewes and her sister knew they needed to help the over populated MS shelter and bring home Dory and other animals to Washington State!

June 2026 came around, and we had a BIG plan! Our receptionists husband flew to MS and then DROVE 36 hours straight back to WA with 5 dogs and 3 cats! WHAT A TRIP!

With our thorough exams and bloodwork, we found out Dory is heartworm positive.

Luckily with Dr. Dreewes and staff, she is now healthy and continuing her protocol for her heartworm diagnosis. She was adopted with the best family! Way to go, Dory!
